The KTR-45 is a Japanese acoustic series produced by Terada Gakki, a highly regarded manufacturer of boxed instruments that handles OEM production for several world-famous manufacturers.
The KTR-45 was arranged based on the detailed verification and accurate measurements of a vintage instrument owned by our staff.
The KTR-45 is a guitar designed to be played thoroughly while retaining the unique presence of the J-45 from the Late 50’s to the Early 60’s. The body thickness of a regular J-45 is approximately 1.5mm.
The body thickness was reduced by 10mm from the normal J-45 body thickness to make it easier to hold and play.
The body size is perfect for petite women as well, as it allows them to play for long periods of time without feeling stressed.
The neck is made of carefully selected high-quality mahogany, which is only available from Terada Gakki, and each piece is hand-shaped by skilled craftsmen to achieve a comfortable grip in the hand without making it feel thick.
There are some signs of use such as minor scratches and light dents, but no major damage, maintaining a clean appearance and in good playing condition.
* One of the zipper handles of the attached semi-hard case is damaged.
