This DQ-NYE is a faithful reproduction of D’Aquisto’s classic “-New Yorker-” model, including the vibrant “NewYorker” head inlay.
17″ full acoustic body, solid spruce top, flame maple plywood sides and back, ebony bridge and tailpiece, original floating pickups, Vol/Tone control on pickguard, Schaller pegs, Gold hardware.
It has a graceful sound that is perfect for jazz and blues.
The knob is a slim type. It shows signs of use (scratches, playing scuffs, scratch marks, picking marks, fogging, bits and rust on metal parts and screws, and other exterior damages).
The fret board has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment) upon arrival, and the truss rod can be adjusted to +/- 60 degrees.
