Introduced in the summer of 2018 as the successor to the Standard Series, the lineup follows the traditional design and sound of the Fender (Made in Mexico), while incorporating throughout the specs demanded by various categories of modern players. This is a Player Series Stratocaster.
Alder body, modern C-shape maple neck, 9.5R fingerboard with medium jumbo size 22 frets, 3 x Player Series Alnico 5 Strat Single-Coil PUs, Vol/Front & Center Tone/Rear Tone controls, 2-point Tremolo.
This is truly a player’s instrument that combines the looks of yesteryear with modern playability.
It shows signs of use (minor scratches on the top of the body, scuffs and play marks, picking marks, fogging/bitzing of metal parts and screws, and other exterior damage).
The fret board has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret adjustment, nut groove correction, fret deburring) upon arrival, the fret board is high enough to play, and the truss rod is adjustable to 60.
