Description
Fender Japan STM-550G, made between 1990 and 1991, is in stock!
This one features a medium scale neck with 22 frets.
The body material is Alder, and the finish is cataloged as Snow White, but due to some discoloration over time, the actual color of the instrument is closer to Olympic White.
The neck is a driven quarter-sawn maple neck, and the fingerboard is a rosewood fingerboard, which is rare for this model.
The neck is stamped STM-55.
The micro-tilt allows the neck angle to be adjusted without shims.
The nut width is slim, about 40mm, and has been replaced with a metal nut.
Front and rear pickups are replaced.
The center pickup is original HOTROD-5S pickup.
There are some dents and stains, but it is relatively clean considering its age.
The neck is currently straight, and the truss rod has been checked to 90 left and right.
The frets have about 1.3mm left and can still be played.
Don’t miss this opportunity!
