Description
AZ Premium, the standard model for the new generation of guitarists, in new colors
New color model with quilted maple body top, white body binding, and gold hardware, giving it a luxurious, high-end look
Gotoh MG-T locking machine head
Roasted maple neck and rosewood fingerboard
The neck is made of heat-treated maple. The heat treatment provides shape stability, durability against warping, water resistance, and resistance to temperature changes.
After several prototypes and verifications, we concluded that 20.5*22.5 (at1F*12F) was the best neck thickness.
The back of the neck is finished with a satin finish to ensure smooth playing comfort.
The fretboard is made of rosewood, which is known for its tenacious and mild mid-range sound.
Oval C” neck shape, exclusive to AZ
Super All Access neck joint and specially designed body contour
Stainless steel frets
Luminescent fingerboard side dot position inlays
DiMarzio pickups with HSH layout
The Air Norton pickup at the neck position delivers a clear and warm sound, the True Velvet at the middle position delivers a bright and low-noise sound, and the Tone Zone at the bridge position delivers a powerful sound with a well-balanced output from high to low frequencies. The bridge position is equipped with The Tone Zone, which delivers a powerful sound with a well-balanced output from high to low frequencies.
This is a combination that Ibanez considers the best, and it is also used in the j.custom series, the flagship model of Ibanez.
Ibanez T1502 tremolo bridge with steel saddle (made by Gotoh)
The GOTOH 510 bridge, which has an established reputation as the definitive tremolo bridge among many players and brands, has been revitalized through a collaboration between Ibanez and GOTOH.
The new bridge features a machined steel saddle and zinc die-cast inertia block for a tight sound with a good startup, as well as a good separation of sound in chord work.
