DEMO MODEL: This instrument has been opened and is typically used by an artist or group at a clinic or performance event (i.e., a State Educator show or Industry Trade show booth.) The instruments have not been previously owned, and with very few exceptions, are in original packaging. All DEMO model instruments still carry any manufacturer warranties – but at a lower cost to compensate for the limited usage. All specifications and details are identical to the brand-new versions.The Pearl Philharmonic USA Solid Shell Snare series gives the feel of a custom concert snare drum with beautiful appointments and versatile tone options. Featuring the elegant Philharmonic nickel-plated hardware, classic tube lugs, die-cast and single flange hoops, and the SR505 Triad Silent strainer, these snares achieve precise tuning and incredible performance. Each shell is CNC drilled, hand-finished, and assembled at the Pearl Custom Shop in Nashville, TN. These snares are available with either a 45-degree bearing edge which provides for a bright, cutting response, or a fully rounded bearing edge that presents a warm and focused tone.This snare features a beautiful, steam bent solid cherry shell and a round bearing edge. Cherry provides a boosted high end with a punchy mid-range with brightness and sensitivity.
