This Ernie Ball RPS Regular Slinky (10-46) string pack for electric guitar feature reinforced plain strings, making them less prone to breakages, increasing tuning stability and therefore extending the string life.
The lock twist of the ball ends, where most breakages occur, are tightly wrapped in Bronze wire to reduce snapping. The wound strings of Ernie Ball RPS Regular Slinkyare the same as found in the normal slinky packs.
