DEMO MODEL: This instrument has been opened and is typically used by an artist or group at a clinic or performance event (i.e., a State Educator show or industry trade show booth.) Demo instruments are not pre-owned and, with very few exceptions, are in original packaging. All DEMO model instruments still carry the full manufacturers warranty – but at a lower cost to compensate for the limited usage. All specifications and details are identical to the brand-new versions.Black Swamp’s Log Drums come in four sizes, 20, 25, 30, and 38 long, each with two pitches on a solid maple sound board. The remainder of the resonator box is made from high quality Finnish birch plywood. Utilizing CNC router production techniques, each tongue is shaped into a slightly flanged profile that focuses the tone and increases resonance. Each tongue also have playing areas uniquely marked to make finding the “sweet-spot” easier.
