TheAT8492DfromAudio Technicais a system designed to make mounting your ATM350a cardioid condenser microphone to any drum head a cinchor more aptly put, a winch: its spring-loaded mount clamps onto your drums tension rod and, without interfering with your ability to adjust the drums tension, stays in place, whilst simultaneously providing shock-resistance for the mic.
The system provides a 5 gooseneck which is both sturdy and flexible. The gooseneck stays affixed to the socket by means of a locking screw, and allows you to place the microphone however youd like, maintaining its non-drooping integrity regardless of how hard you may play. The AT8492D is specifically intended for use with ATM350a microphone systems.
